oh, vocab

My boss was confused, amused and then impressed today when I used the word "imbue" in a sentence.

I may be too well-educated to be working in retail.

I used the term "lingua franca" at work the other day, and almost got my butt kicked by a bunch of computer nerds...if that is any consolation...
